Respondents to Pumeli’s 2018 Corporate Gift Inquiry said the top three reasons they give gifts to clients and prospects is to express appreciation, build loyalty and stay top of mind.
When clients were asked to describe how they feel when they received gifts from a company they do business with, most of them said “appreciated”, according to ASI’s 2018 Corporate Gift Spending Survey.
Of companies planning to give holiday gifts this season, those surveyed by ASI were planning to spend an average of $48 per client and $65 per employee.
